About 45 minutes south of Hobart, Tasmania, lies the beautiful rural village of Cygnet. In this thriving centre for artists and artisans, you will find the Eagle House Gallery, home of Phoenix Creations.

Set amongst beautiful flowers in a stunning semi-rural setting, the gallery is open regularly on Sunday and Monday from 11am to 4pm.

The Phoenix Creations Team consists of David and Michelle Rauenbush, and their little helper Morgan.

More than just furniture, each piece we make is a one-of-a-kind original due to the beautiful workmanship and the unique timbers used. We source our timber from many places - most of our wood comes from old sheds, houses, fences, gates, or maybe even a wooden boat! The timber is planed down to remove the years of weathering and reveal the original grain. The handpicked pieces are then crafted into unique furniture with individual style, strength and character. Scraped paint accents are revealed in the process, and natural waxes and oils are applied to complete your unique furniture artwork.
